Steps
1. Open Cronos app and find the asset you want to trade. You can browse the For You feed, check the Markets tab, or use the search bar to look up a specific asset by name or ticker.
2. Tap the asset to open its details page. You'll see the current price, a price chart, and key information about the asset.
3. Tap Trade at the bottom of the screen, then choose Buy or Sell.
4. Enter your amount.
Buying: type the amount you want to spend, or use the quick-fill buttons (e.g. 10% / Max of your available balance). You'll see the estimated amount of the asset you'll receive.
Selling: choose how much of your position to sell with the percentage buttons (25% / 50% / 75% / Max). You'll see the estimated amount you'll receive and your profit or loss.
5. Review the order summary. It shows the asset, the amount, the estimated price, and the minimum you'll receive. The price updates every few seconds to stay current. If the quote expires before you confirm, just tap to refresh it.
6. Tap Confirm to place your order. If you'd rather skip this step next time, tick Skip confirmation next time before confirming.
7. Your order is placed and executed at the best available market price, there's no waiting period or resting order. A confirmation screen shows exactly what you bought or sold and at what price. Once you see it, the asset (or your proceeds) is in your account.
Questions
I tapped Confirm but nothing happened.
Check your internet connection and try again. If the issue persists, close and reopen the app. If the trade did not go through, your balance will not be affected.
The price I received is slightly different from what I saw on the review screen.
Prices move continuously. The small difference between the review price and your execution price is caused by normal market movement in the brief moment between review and confirmation. See "Price difference on my trade" for more details.
I do not have enough balance.
Tap the Top Up button on the trade screen to add funds to your account. Once your balance is sufficient, you can proceed with the trade.
My trade failed.
Trades can occasionally fail due to rapid price movement or a temporary network issue. You will not be charged. Wait a moment and try again. See "What happens if a trade fails" for more details.
I got a "large price difference" warning.
This appears when your order is large relative to available liquidity, so it would fill noticeably away from the market price. You can lower your amount for a better price, or proceed anyway if you're comfortable with the shown price.
